Description
A superb limited edition single harvest port from the classic 1970 vintage. Amazing to think that this wine is now 50 years old but is drinking incredibly well. Some things just get better with age.
The 1970 vintage was almost perfect with a warm dry spring and some welcome rainfall in May and June. July to October was almost completely rainfree with warm days and cool nights. The grapes ripened perfectly and were free of disease or rot.
