Description

Port Charlotte PC12 Oileanach Furachail, is a Single Malt from the Bruichladdich Distillery in Islay, Scotland. Port Charlotte PC12 is the eighth release in the PC series of cask-strength single malts.

The nose of the Port Charlotte PC12 has a burst of smoke and salt and as the aromas continue there is a development of dark fruits, such as raisins, toffee and oak. There are undertones of cinnamon, orange and nuts. The palate is rich and succulent, with honey and lemon flavours, that are well balanced with peat smoke. There are also plenty of fruit notes such as apricots, pears and green apples. The finish is that of liquorice and malty flavours. A well-balanced whisky that is a must-try.
