Description

Part of the departed spirits of the Limerick series.

Paying tribute to John Wolfe Ambrose of Newcastlewest, leaving Cobh, Co. Cork at the age of 13 in 1851 and making his way to New York. It was there he went on to be a brilliant engineer and improved the channels within and leading to New York Harbour to deepen and widen them to allow large transatlantic ships. Allowing New York City's commercial economy to boom and compete with the world marketplace.

Sourcing first fill quarter cask which held Peated Ex Bourbon from Kings County Distillery of Brooklyn, New York. Traveling the very waterways designed by John Wolf Ambrose himself and brought back to Limerick and filled with Irish Single Malt Whiskey and finished in Cork under the care of Irishmalts.com.
