Description:The very first release from the Thomond Gate Brand. The first whiskey to be released from Limerick City for many years and this release definitely celebrates Limerick's Heritage and history. Limited to only 100 bottles that have quickly sold out, these bottles are individually numbered and aged in a single Oloroso sherry cask and bottled to cask strength, 61% abv. This is the first batch and is the first of a series which will follow the life of a single cask which will have future bottlings withdrawn from it and allowing the remainder of this whiskey to continue to mature.
