Description
The very first release of Aqua Vitae, the Original Uisce Beatha (water of Life) made to a historical Recipe in Ireland.
Using a 740-year-old recipe, Aqua Vitae is a new spirit based on the first written record of grain distillate in Ireland.
After painstaking research, Aqua Vitae was created using the original recipe of Richard De Ledrede, the Bishop of Ossory, Kilkenny circa 1324.
First intended as a tropical cure-all, the liquor evolved into the Whiskey that we all know and love today.
