Description
This Method & Madness release started its life in both Bourbon and Sherry casks before being finished in Wild Cherry wood casks. Cherry timber is semi-ring porous as opposed to ring-porous like oak and chestnut. Meaning that it is not as strong or water-tight when used for coopering. Notes of fine wine, capers, and ginger spice.
A world first, this limited-edition release is a Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey aged in ex-bourbon and sherry casks, a Limited release of 2,500 bottles.
