Gifted a short time after the war ended to various members of the allied forces.
This bottle was gifted to Thomas O'Connor Jr. company 265 US Navy landed on Omaha Beach on Day D +1
Thomas would have been 100 years old this year.
It has been in his family ever since , and this interesting part of both cognac and militaria history is now up for auction.
