The set contains 3 bottles of 1965 Barolo Damilano and a 1962 release.

Mainly produced using the Nebbiolo variety, Barolo can be considered one of Italy's greatest wines. Located at altitude, the vineyard is made up of sandy loam, magnesium, and manganese in the northwest as well as iron-rich land in the southeast.

Generally speaking, Barolo wines can be identified by their very dark color as well as remarkable aromatic complexity. These massive, powerful but elegant wines are characterised by notes of creamy vanilla, tobacco, and smoke.

Each bottle is in fair condition for its age. The 1962 bottle has a lower fill level than the rest.
