Description
This single malt release is from Suntory's mountain distillery which is found deep within the forests of Mount Kaikomagatake, Hakushu is owned by Suntory, founders of the first Japanese distillery, Yamazaki.
The original Hakushu distillery was built in 1973, with another distillery building called Hakushu Higashi (West) added in 1981.
This is a limited edition bottling in a bamboo display case.

Suntory Holdings can trace their history all the way back to February 1 1899 when their founder opened his first store, they are now one of the worlds largest producer of distilled beverages. The Yamazaki and Hakushu malt distilleries and Chita grain distillery in their portfolio. From these three starting points they produce a wide range of blended and single malt whiskies, catering to both the palates at home and abroad. Some of their brand labels are now discontinued which gives them further appeal to the collector and the whisky aficionado.
