Description
Bottled to help Celebrate 5 Years of Irish Whiskey Auctions, this special edition is also the first of many firsts for us.
This vatted single malt contains four different finishes from five different casks including first fill bourbon barrels that were then finished in Amarone, Madeira, Pineau des Charente and peated casks using a combination of double and triple distilled malt all from the same Single Pot Still. Expertly blended by Brian Mongan and Jade Sheehy from the Great Northern Distillery.
Using our family name, which also hangs above the door of our pub in County Louth, the Sheehy's Single Malt is a milestone for us as Irish whiskey fans and as a family.
