Description
Small 5-10 liter casks coopered by the late Kilbeggan Master Cooper John Neilly. (1951-2018)
In the early 1990's Dr John Teeling offered John Neilly the role of Master Cooper at the Kilbeggan Distillery and so Kilbeggan became his home for the next 26 years. In 2014 John founded the Nephin Cooperage and continued to train the next generation of apprentice coopers.
These casks would have been used to taste spirits and other quality control work carried out by the Kilbeggan distillery.
