Original wooden case of Locke’s crocks of malt whiskey.

The malt whiskey was distilled in Kilbeggan in the early 1940s and bottled there circa the early 1950s.

The Wellington Hotel in Belfast (Now known as the Wellington Park Hotel) is a famous hotel in Belfast.
Cathal Mooney the chairman of the hotel group that owned the Hotel spent most of his life expanding and developing the hotel.
Mooney was known as a daring businessman and continued to develop the hotel throughout its colorful history.

The wooden case is in fantastic condition with a rail/customs note that refers to the transit destination (Belfast) via Dundalk railway station.
A beautiful display piece that is from a now almost forgotten time in Irish whiskey history.

Upon inspection by the IWA, we note some of the decanters are light in volume but all are still sealed and intact.
Overall condition is great considering the age of this lot.
