Description
As part of the departed spirits of the Limerick series. Following the campaigns of Galloping Hogan, a rebellious hero from the parish of Doon, Co. Limerick. Following the Irish Brigade to France, his service was cut short in the French Army. Upon dueling his cousin he left for Portugal under the punishment of death. Known as Miguel Hogan, his nighttime maneuvers were put to good use in the battle of Campo Maior against the Spanish in 1712 against Marquis de Bey, The Scourge of the Portuguese. He was rewarded with lands for successfully defending them.
