Port Charlotte PC12 Oileanach Furachail, is a Single Malt from the Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay, Scotland. Port Charlotte PC12 is the eight release in te PC series of cask strenght single malts.
The nose of the Port Charlotte PC12, has a burst of smoke, salt and as the aromas contuine there is an development of dark fruits, such as raisins, toffee and oak. There are undertones of cinnamon, orange and nuts. The palate is rich and succulent, with honey and lemon flavours, that are well balanced with peat smoke. There are also plenty fruit notes such as apricot, pear and green apples. The finish is that of liquorice and malty flavours. A well-balanced whisky that is a must try.
