Description
Another excellent small batch Irish whiskey from Derry whiskey company the Quiet Man.
This is a blend of grain and single pot still whiskies, that has been aged in former Bourbon casks, before a finishing period in Imperial Stout casks.
The Whiskey was named referring to Biaran Mulgrew's father, John Mulgrew, a bar tender, who worked more than 50 years in bars around Belfast. He saw many things and heard many stories. But like all good bar tenders he retold nothing of all this. “The Quiet Man” or as they say in the Irish … “An Fear Ciuin”.
