Douglas Laing has created a cask strength bottling of its The Epicurean blended malt - with a name honouring its home in Glasgow!
Made exclusively with malt whiskies from the Lowlands, and with an image of the Duke of Wellington statue's infamous traffic cone hat (a frequent sight in Glasgow).
While it retains a lot of its classic Lowland-style elegance, the Cask Strength ABV gives it a punchy flavour profile.

The region has five currently producing whisky distilleries: Ailsa Bay,in Girvan owned by William Grant & Sons, Glenkinchie distillery, near Edinburgh; Auchentoshan, near Clydebank; and Bladnoch in Galloway and Annandale Distillery in Annan. Another distillery Daftmill in Fife has started distilling but have not yet brought a single malt to market. Three further new distilleries have opened in recent years: The Glasgow Distillery Company in Glasgow, Kingsbarns distillery and InchDairnie distillery both in Fife. Distilleries are also planned at Lindores Abbey at Ardgowan. At least six other lowland single malts are still available, but are no longer distilled: Rosebank, Kinclaith, St. Magdalene, Ladyburn, Inverleven, and Littlemill. Traditionally Lowland single malts are triple distilled (though this has not been true of all of them), often giving them a lighter taste.
