Description

Vega Sicilia Unico, one of Spain’s and the world’s most legendary wines, is the epitome of finesse, history and craftsmanship. Its history dates back to 1864, when Eloy Lecanda y Chaves founded the winery in Ribera del Duero. He planted the first vines with French grape varieties that he had brought with him, laying the foundation for what would become one of the world’s most renowned wines.

However, it is Tempranillo that plays the dominant role in the “Unico” wine and the grapes are harvested from Vega Sicilia’s unique, high-altitude vineyards.
