Single Port Still distilled in 1989, matured in ex-bourbon and re casked into a Ruby Port cask in 1995
Single Pot Still distilled in 1991 and matured in second-fill ex-bourbon
Single Pot Still distilled in 1991 and matured in second-fill ex-bourbon
Single Pot Still distilled in 1991, matured in ex-bourbon, and re-casked in 2011 into a Sherry butt.
The four components were then married together in that Original Ruby Port cask for an additional 105 days.
The End Result is that we have a whiskey with plenty of flavours bursting through with the influence of the fortified wine.
The ballot for this annual release has attracted buyers from all over the world and was many times oversubscribed.
Only a lucky 880 winners on the ballot got a chance to buy this very limited edition bottle that is sought after by drinkers and collectors alike.
