The inaugural release of Single Estate Single Pot Still and Single Malt Whiskeys from Echlinville Distillery, their first field to glass offering.
Echlinville – The Beginning is distilled exclusively from barley grown, harvested and floor malted on their distillery farm, every step of the process thereafter has been completed on site at their family-run distillery.
They sow, grow, harvest, malt, mash, ferment, distil, cask, mature, blend and bottle.
A set of two bottles in a beautifully presented wooden case, the set comprises of;
1 x 500ml Single Pot Still Whiskey
7 Years Old – Double Distilled – Bourbon Cask.
1 X 500ml Single Malt Whiskey
7 Years Old – Double Distilled – Bourbon Cask & Virgin American Oak Cask
The Ards Peninsula has long been regarded as one of the finest barley growing regions in Ireland. Local farmers would have historically supplied barley to Ards Maltings, which provided premium malt to some of the country’s biggest distilleries and breweries.
