Description

A rare opportunity to purchase a piece of Irish Distilling Heritage with the 36 Year old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey Distilled in 1951 in the Old Tullamore Distillery. This was one of the last few Casks produced in Tullamore before the Distillery Closed in 1954. Having begun restoration of a Castle in Co. Clare, Mark Edwin Andrews sourced these casks and began to slowly enjoy these rarities and share with a few close friends also.
He then bottled a few of these casks in 1987 which now gives us the rare opportunity to enjoy such Legendary Whiskeys from Irelands History.
Having Purchased the Knappogue Castle Brand as part of their overall package of Castle Brands, Irish Distillers Limited has now sourced a limited number of these legendary bottles and is releasing them through their exclusive partner in the U.S.A.
We are delighted to have one of these bottles to raise some much-needed funds for The Irish Heritage Trust, A charity that works so hard to preserve and share much of Ireland's Impressive cultural and Natural Heritage

The Irish Heritage Trust

The Irish Heritage Trust is an independent charity established in 2006 to serve as Ireland’s national, independent, heritage property organisation.
A number of national heritage bodies in Ireland had been doing wonderful work for many years before this point, but studies had identified the need for a single heritage body with a number of aims.
The Irish Heritage Trust was established to:
* Work efficiently to ensure that the Trust’s heritage properties exist on a financially sustainable basis.
* Deliver contemporary cultural and economic benefits from these historic properties.
* Engage with local communities to produce wider public benefits.
