Description
This Hakushu whisky was aged entirely in first-fill bourbon barrels.
This whisky was distilled at Hakushu distillery surrounded by forest at the foot of the Southern Japan Alps.
Hakushu whisky is generally peated, and the Hakushu Bourbon Barrel sees this peated whisky get put straight into first-fill bourbon barrels.

Suntory
Suntory Holdings can trace their history all the way back to February 1 1899 when their founder opened his first store, they are now one of the worlds largest producer of distilled beverages. The Yamazaki and Hakushu malt distilleries and Chita grain distillery in their portfolio. From these three starting points they produce a wide range of blended and single malt whiskies, catering to both the palates at home and abroad. Some of their brand labels are now discontinued which gives them further appeal to the collector and the whisky aficionado.
